It's a bit of a contrast from my last upload (a Bee Gees cover) but I guess that's the beauty of having an eclectic taste in music

Yes I know it's not the same without double bass but by playing alternating 16ths between the right hand and kick it gives a similar result. Something I've only recently started practicing and admittedly it's far from perfect. Work in progress....
Of all the thrash metal bands out there the only one I've ever really got into was Slayer. Not that I don't have upmost respect for all thrash metal drummers (mainly from a stamina point of view) but Lombardo has an organic thing going on which appeals to me.. (He says triggering sounds on an E kit) But anyway...when I practice I usually finish off with War Ensemble as a final burn out. Mainly because it kills my right hand... especially when trying to play it with any sort of energy.
