I've been listening to twenty one pilots for a while now and I've noticed josh duns fills were somehow the same and quite good, by the way i'm talking about the ones he does live like fill in holding on to you and ride. I want to learn it but unfortunately I don't know how the fill works. I'm actually new to drumming so thanks for the help :)

I took my kid to see them last weekend. It was actually really cool to see a drummer be such a focal point of a popular band. When he played his "solo" there were 20,000 screaming kids going crazy. Obviously a very skilled drummer, he was playing to backing tracks and everything was perfectly lock step.

As for your actual question, can help you there. I'm sure there are cover drummers playing their stuff on youtube, might be the place to start. As far as I can remember it was pretty straight forward, a few linear fills, but nothing overly complicated.
