BTW, it does sound like hell when the drums are too loud.
oh and no im not "animal" before anyone accuses me of being some unmusical lout
but you need to play with conviction for a kit to sound good!

We did a show once when we had to be @38db just outside the front door. It's literally impossible sometimes!!!!!

Friend of a guitarist came into our jam room, saw the other kids massive metal kit compared to my 4-piece and asked "Does that mean he's better?"
"Nah, he's like the guy who brings a shower, his laptop, a generator, etc. camping with him. I'm like the guy who goes to the woods with nothing but a knife, some string, and some creativity."
