Photoshoot of my (very) humble vintage snare drum collection

I had the day off today and drank way too much coffee so I decided to make use of all this energy by taking pictures of my snare drums. I've been meaning to do this for awhile now but never actually followed through with it. All of them are original except for the snare wires and heads.

They're definitely not in mint condition and I kind of like that. It gives them character. My workhorse is the Supra. I recently swapped out the batter hoop to a cast hoop and man...does she ever bark! I love these babies.

Anyway, here they are:

- 1965 Ludwig Supraphonic LM400 with a die cast batter hoop (still have the original)

- 1970-71 Rogers Dynasonic COB 14x5" (in rough shape, but all original)

- 1976 Ludwig Auditorium 15x6.5" (yup, she's a monster)

Good pics. Those are all great drums. I've got a Dyna. like that. It's been my work horse. Hold on to those babies.

Wow, gimme the name of that coffee brand asap. You took a lot of photos ... :)

The Auditorium wins the beauty contest. Sweet!

Sweet drums and pretty dog! What's his/ her name?

Thank you! His name is Wilson. He's a german shorthaired pointer/rottweiler/beagle mix.

And thanks for the rest of the compliments guys! I've been busy with the band these last couple of months and haven't had a chance to check your comments 'till now. So, thank you! Now, time to start looking for a new snare drum! :)
