Replacement beater heads (without shaft)

Hi all, this is my first post to be gentle!

I have an old Pearl chain-driven double pedal (sorry, I can't remember the model no. although I can post a pic if it helps) and the standard felt beaters are far too big and heavy for my newly purchased Yamaha DTX530, so I'm looking for 2 replacement beater heads.
Most manufactures, OEM and aftermarket, seem to offer only beaters complete with shafts but, as the 2nd (left hand side) beater shaft on my pedal is angled this would be problem for me.
My question is, can anybody recommend a pair of replacement beater heads that will screw onto the existing shafts? FYI, the thread appears to be M6.

After doing a bit of web research, I can confirm that the pedal is a P-950TW.

Here's a small pic I found (not mine) illustrating the why I can't can't just replace the beater and rod together!
