Not sure if this really true, but thought the "world travelers" among us might wanna be aware...

All one needs to do is go to the various airlines and ask them the proper size. I know some people still have carry on larger than the box on the floor but the airlines will be the judge.

...but wouldn't it be better to know BEFORE you even get to the airport, as opposed to finding out just as you're about to get on the plane?
This is why I posted the article.

They are getting really restrictive, not that I blame them for it. Last year I had a 12 hour long flight and there was no room for my carry-on in the overhead, so I had to set it between my feet on the floor.
