Default Fill Patterns

Heres some fill patters that you might find interesting or even challenging, they have a different effect when played faster than slower.

You just play two notes per drum and it goes hi tom snare drum floor tom high tom floor tom snare drum then repeats.

Since your arms change direction half ay though the fill it is good to practice, your brain may tell you to go to the snare after the second hi tom.

Then you can build up the speed and create other ones such as floor tom high tom snare drum floor tom high tom snare drum high tom then repeat that.

Another using three toms: high low mid low high mid, again using two notes per drum, the rhythm is as if you are playing a single stroke roll rhythm but on the different drums.

I might post a video/audio soon if I get get round to it.

Default Re: Fill Patterns

Hi there, there sounds like a really cool pattern and i'll certainly try it out later! After doing it with singles you could try it with doubles? Just a thought, Josh
