Default A new drumming hero emerges!

Originally modelled on Bo, but done Danish style, & with a ton of fills.

Love this guy :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QBwfNSIuYDw

This is what happens when it's cold most of the year and you don't get outside enough.

Good stuff. Seems like the voice was over-dubbed towards the end...appeared out of sync with the video anyway.

It's all just good "tongue in cheek" fun. He's obviously a very capable drummer, & that makes it even better :)

Very funny and engaging.

I would study with this guy any day.

He makes it all look so fun and probably has some great techniques which it looks like he can very effectively teach step by step. He's left his ego behind to share the good stuff.

I'm inspired just listening to him speak or as he plays along.

I like soup and ice cream. Unsure about pork roast, but the way he cooks it appears so savory.

And he can forget about that lucrative Al Jazeera tie up too!

A bit of background information from a fellow Dane.
In my country there is a tradition to throw parties for family and friends at baptizing, round birthdays, weddings and wedding anniversaries.
Its also common to hire an 'organ' player for these occations to play and sing. Not so long ago playing 2 keyboard organ with foot bass and built in drum mashine. You know what I mean. These days probably arranger keyboard.
Those musicians are nicknamed soup, roast pork and ice cream musicians as this is the menu normally served at those parties.

Well that clears THAT up. I was wondering wtf that was all about. Thanks!

By that logic I would be a beer musician.

Why would you want to be a "potty" drummer or play "potty" music?

Edit: That guys is an awesome drummer and funny as hell... LOL

Yes, all space must be filled up. And you must beat the lead singer to it. ;-) Love it.

Wow, do you really think so Bo? I mean nowhere in this video did I see any study of complex time signatures, (9/21) nor an examination of the more progressive rudiments like the flam rest or the paradiddle ladadoodle.

I think we have makings of a Peart vs. Portnoy debate here.

Oh my, he finished off Part 2 with some Weather Report. And he played a difficult Jaco passage on bass.

He is my new idol.

This is something I usually did on some blues-gigs, where the people watching were dance-band people.

But do you sing Whitney Houston songs? That would put you over the edge!
