Live video with 80's glam band TUFF

So, I was recruited by 80's glam band TUFF to do two show this past weekend.
You "might" remember them from their #3 MTV hit "I Hate Kissing You Goodbye" in 1991 or their 2001 hit "American Hair Band" a parody of Kid Rock's "American Bad-Ass".

Here I am playing with them at the 2012 Crue Fest in Hollywood.

Good fun :) I'm liking the double handed crash ending = great visual.

Your drumming is solid man! But the front man for some reason just doesnt seem like he can get the crowd into it? But you guys sounded good!

Onya Nick. Always right on the button and grooving with all the kicks and the stops bang on. Damned sight harder than you make it look. Pity about the recorder - very toppy.

I was going to make a joke that "don't they know you don't have big hair" but apparently no one else in the band does either. LOL.

Given I know you had minimal rehearsals, you nailed it.

Thanks, this was one of the only songs I played without a click...
With the whole Dr. Feelgood breakdown I can't switch tempos that fast and then try and come back into the regular song, so I had to "fly without a net". I HATE playing without the click too...

We only had two days of rehearsals, both about 3 hours. So not bad considering.
We did a gig the night before in OC and they called me Monday to play this weekend as well, but I have other gig obligations this weekend...
