Default Yamaha Stage Customs

I found some custom sized yamaha stage customs for sale. They are $425 and look pretty good. They were owned by a professional drummer and used on tour for a few months. He said he had the sizes ordered special. They are bigger than normal. I think the rack tom is a 9x13 and the bass drum is 24x22? its only a 3 piece but sounded like a great deal. Any thoughts?

Looks great! Kick is kinda large (deep) for my tastes but that looks like a great deal.

SCs are great drums, as long as these are in good shape the price is not bad. The kick is too deep for my tastes (and will require a bit of a boot in order to move all that air), but it looks like it was decently well kept.

THAT makes more sense. I was wondering why/how Yamaha would custom make this series in non-standard sizes.

I think it's still a solid deal, as long as the drums are in good shape.

How much of what's in the pic is included? If it's the 3 drums, is the stand for the tom included?
The shaft for a single tom mounted on the bass drum is normally a bit longer than the one that actually holds the tom itself.
Pretty sure it's the same length as the 3 hole shaft that goes in the stand in the pic.
You can get them to either hold a single tom, or with the 3 hole mount.

Anyways, the sizes listed on Yamaha's site that are closest to what you posted are 24x17 BD, 13x10 TT, and 16x16 FT.

I passed on a 3 piece set recently that was 24x17, 12x9, and 14x14. I didn't want a bass drum that big.

But a lot of people think the sizes you listed are ideal sizes for a 3 piece.

They look in pretty good shape in the pic. And if he ordered them individually, it would have come to a bit more money. Probably a good deal for someone.

EDIT: Looking at the pic again, that looks like a 2 hole mount holding the tom and cymbal. I don't think Yamaha makes those anymore.

All that is included is the rack Tom the floor Tom and kick drum. I would really have to look at it to know more about the hardware on it.

If it's the 3 drums without a tom mount, you want to mount the tom on the bass drum, and you don't plan on adding a second bass mounted tom, you would probably want to get this type of mount for it:
