This may seem dumb but I've played Pearl for 27 years. I just ordered a Tama Starclassic kit and was wondering if I could use a DW 9000 series tom stand tomountthe toms? I believe the mounting hardware on the drums are similar?? Thanks guys!!

You may have to retrofit the actual arm the brack will slide on to. It might not be the same diameter. I know you can't put PDP drums on the DW stands, the PDP bracket isn't big enough for the rod. Tama might be the same thing.

But Gibraltar makes replacement tom arms on the ball and you could probably just replace those and be good to go.

The L-Arms for Tama hardware are 10.5 mm, and the ones for DW are 12.7 mm. They are not interchangeable. PDP uses 10.5 mm arms, though, with much of the same quality, and they happen to be cheaper.

Gibraltar also sells very nice, sturdy 10.5 mm tom stands and clamps.
