Default Sonor Finish Question

I'm seriously considering a purchase of Sonor SQ2's with beech shells in a high gloss black finish. I used to have a black kit back in the day and really liked the classic look. Does anyone here on the forum have a high gloss black finish? I am concerned about how easily it may get scratched, (my old Ludwig's in black were not high gloss but seemed to withstand the road fairly well).

Any other Sonor finish recommendations or advice would also be appreciated. Thanks!

Gloss black is going to show dust, scratches, fingerprints, etc. more than any other color.

I might suggest the sparkle black finish or perhaps a matte finish. Btw if you have a chance check out the SQ2 display with various finishes and shells
