Ddrum Bass Triggers vs Axis Ekits

Alright so I need to buy a new kick trigger. I have the Ddrum Pro one's right now and they fry out. I know you can replace the transducers, but the Ddrum DRT triggers have 2 transducers so i figured I might as well upgrade for that safety net.
I have Axis AL-2 Longboards, so I could also get the Ekit triggers. I have heard that the hammers break on those frequently though and they are a huge hassle to transport and move.
What's everyones opinions?
Ddrum DRT or Axis Ekit?

Hi - I gather Axis have re-designed the detonators so they don't hit the double pedal link anymore.

In terms of transporting them - I put a spring on the slave pedal so the detonator does not hit the trigger box when the double pedal link is removed.

I have also used ddrum pro triggers for 7-8 years and never had a problem. If anything i prefer them as they are more responsive to dynamics than the ekits.

YMMV
