Yamaha recording custom badge - info please

Hi everyone, first I apologize if there is similar thread like this. I used "search" but I didn't find anything.

I want to buy yamaha recording custom, and I found one that is in good shape and the price is ok, but I have few questions about it's badge. Recordings have two set of letters and numbers, one below model, and the other one below serial number. This one has "RECORDING" written on the badge and no numbers. Also, it has no vent hole that all other yamahas have on their badge.

So what an I really asking is: Is it really RC, and how old could it be?

I'm pretty sure Yamaha puts two of these badges on each drum, one will be with a vent hole and the other won't...the one with the vent hole generally has drum specifics (I.e., S/N, date of mfg., etc..)...I thought the other one (the one in the pic) was usually blank, but obviously this one is identified...another identifier on RC's (at least on later ones) is the interior will be stained the same color as exterior, so the drum you're looking at should have a cherrywood interior...do you any other pics of drum?

The RC's with YESS mounts don't have holes in the badges at all. These have YESS mounts. The rack toms will still have 2 badges, one on either side of the mount. One will have RECORDING on it, the other will have the numbers. The vent is below the mount, so it has nothing to do with the badge. These pictures are correct RC's.

Only the older, pre-YESS RC's had holes in the badges, with the vent corresponding to one of the badges.

I bought these drums today, and should have it by friday. The price was good, and they were in good shape. I think it is a good deal. More info when I try them. :)
