Stage Customs are great. I've used them on many tours. The right heads and a good ear for tuning, those drums perform remarkably!

Yeah, when I saw him in a clinic he had the big main kit (Hybrid Maple) and a Stage Custom bop next to it. Sounded amazing on both of course. And mic'ed up through the system one did not sound better than the other. Of course that could be my amazement clouding my judgment. Videos do not do justice to this man's talent and ability. It must be witnessed from a few feet away to be truly appreciated.
