Default Amazon Prime Day

Have any of you picked up gear on Amazon Prime Day? I'm looking at replacing some gear including my double tom stand but could wait a few days if musical instruments have been known to get the discounts too.

Well, for musical gear for me, Prime Day was a bust. There were a few other items in diff't categories that I almost pulled the trigger on but the deals weren't good enough to turn it into a "too good to pass up."

I almost pulled the trigger on the Audio Technica ath-m50x headphones but after reading some non-Amazon.com online reviews about outside noise, I decided not to.

The one item that caught my attention the most though were the Nura headphones on sale for $299 from $399. Seems like a cool concept and I figured if I didn't like them, I'd send them back. The only reason I didn't pull the trigger is because I'm ordering molded in-ears and I don't feel like putting nearly $600 into listening equipment.

Somehow, someway this morning, I spotted something on facebook, and I followed through just to see if it was real. I got a promo code (only good for one order) for 90% off of a stick holder:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The limit was two, so I got two of these stick holders for $2.70 with free shipping. I tried to find the deal again to share on here, but it was gone.

I dunno if this falls into the "Prime Day" arena...

Actually a few days prior to Prime Day, Amazon had Prime Deal of the Day and I snagged up a Marshall Stanmore for $169 (reg. $349).
