Syncopation lessons 1-12 (reading exercises)

Can anybody tell me if is there some another way to go trough those exercises instead of playing exactly how its written because its too darn boring that way.

Another great resource would be Alan Dawson's classic method in "The Drummer's Complete Vocabulary" written by John Ramsay. I think the main limitation to this book is what you want to do with it and how much time/energy you are willing to put in. Good luck!

Yep, the giant DW thread and the Dawson book are good places to start. There's also a book Stickings and Orchestrations by Casey Scheurell that looks good. And there's a bunch of stuff here not covered elsewhere.
