As a bit of drumless play along junkie, I am very intrigued with the quality of musicians involved with this project. What is also cool is the ability to slow down and loop the tracks. You can also do this with DAW software but this looks easier.

I must admit I am not a fan of play alongs in APP form. I guess for throwing on some headphones and practicing it works well but with my setup which is several mics into an eight channel interface and a cheepo version of pro tools, buying the files off of iTunes or a cd works much better. I think you can record into this app and listen back much like the Erskine app but I have not figured out a way that lets me mix it as good as in a DAW.

There are quite a few quality tracks already available with many of the same people involved with this project but at lower prices. I think 99 cents a track is more of the going rate.
