Hello guys!
This is my first post so hello everybody
Anyone who's familiar with motown records session band, 'The funk brothers' will know about the pure genious in which they are.
They played and wrote more number 1's that The beatles, Elvis, and the Beach Boys combined!
I thought it would be nice to get a bit more recognition for the drummers who played on the hundreds of records that Motown Churned out, because for a long time no one even realised that it was one group of musicians doing pretty much all of it.
Anyways I was wondering if anyone know which tracks specifically that the funk brothers recorded, and even more to the point, the tracks that Benny Benjimin and Pistol Allen played on. I know it was between 59 and 72 (up to Motown moving LA) but aside from that my knowledge is pretty vague.
Cheers guys
