Man, speaking of being tightly wound, I came across this list the other day outside of the forum and thought it was interesting. You guys have gotten on people's tails in the past about posting things that have already been discussed in the past so I dug up a 5 year old thread. Sorry for peeing in your cornflakes.

Also I feel that I should add... I really dig these threads. In this one alone I learned about at least twenty new drummers that I can go check out now (albeit a huge chunk were from Pollyanna).

I see merit in any non-trolling thread on here. If even one person learned something new then it seems like it's conducive to the whole idea of an internet forum. I don't see any merit in getting your jimmies rustled over a drum thread that you don't care for. Yes, some threads are more productive than others, but it's all in the name of keeping the best online forum as active as ever right?

There's Tony Allen by the way, since nobody has mentioned him. He kinda slips under the table because he was doing his thing in another country, but the guy basically helped invent Afrobeat and is one of the funkiest individuals ever.
