Trick Cymabl Quick Release

Hey everybody, I was wondering if any of you guys have ever tried Trick's Quick-Release attachment for cymbal stands. Trick Quick Release. They look like a much better version of Vater's slick nuts, but I want to hear from you guys.

Also, anybody use slick nuts here? Do you have anything to say about them? I'm trying to decide what I want, and I'm leaning towards the trick ones, but I don't want to blow a bunch of money on a set of these for all my cymbal stands and realize I don't like them.

Never heard of this and it looks great. Trick makes very top-of-the-line gear.

I have used Slicknuts exclusively for about 6 years.

I have some made by Tama, with push buttons on the side that just push on and lock onto the threads, then release when the buttons are pushed.

I use the Tama ones, I'm a very heavy hitting, my cymbals are very loose and these work fine

Oh, well my local music shop only has the trick ones, and GC only has the Slick Nuts. Maybe I should buy one of each and see how I like them
