Default What kit Shoul I buy???!! HELP.

Alright so I'm selling my Tama Starclassic 5pc. 22 10 16 18 5.5 and wanted to get possibly a 3 piece. But I'm not sure if I should get a Pearl MCX or a Force 3007?? Also, sizes. for the 3007 it'll be the 5 pc, but the pearl idk if I want a 10x8 rack or a 12x8? Any thoughts would be appriciated! Thanks!

You didn't mention what kind of Starclassic it was but I'm going to assume you mean the birch Performer kit...? Because if you have a Starclassic maple or bubinga I would tell you you're downgrading, not upgrading.

If the sound of maple versus birch is what is really driving this decision, I would say go for the Pearl. I have heard many extol the virtues of Sonor, but personally I'm not convinced. I would also tend to believe that the wood in the MCX is higher quality, as it is meant to be a "pro-level" kit.

Choice between a MCX or a 3007, MCX wins, hands down.
