Blake Fleming

hey guys just wondering if anyone has heard of him and if so any opinions. for those who do not know, he was the original drummer for mars volta...at least to my knowledge. i'm currently taking lessons from him here at SUNY Oneonta and i have to say his teaching is awesome and he's a really cool dude. if you want a sample check out myspace.com/vultureamerica or scroll down and click future is now

I took lessons from Blake for 8 years in his hometown just outside of St. Louis. Blake was a great teacher and a good guy.

Even back then, he could play any style like a pro. Everything from drum corps to latin, jazz, funk, metal, world, etc.

He may not remember me anymore...but tell him Rob his student from back home says "hi".
