HI guys,
I wanted to share with you that I'll be doing my first drum clinic in Montreal in ten days. If there are anybody from Montreal and around reading this, feel free to come up at Italmélodie store on november 20th. It'll start at 7 pm and is totally free.
I call this clinic the "Drum Strokes Mechanics" and I'll explaining two strokes that have helped quite a lot: the Free Stroke and the Moeller Stroke. I find that a lot of people will show various hand patterns but not that many will explain how to specifically hit those notes. That's what I want to talk about. I'll also be playing a couple of Max Roach/Steve Smith solos and one song.
(like you can see on the poster, the clinic will be in french but I am completely comfortable in answering any questions in english)
Hopefully, I'll be able to talk to some of you guys.
