Remo bass drum head help.

If you want a more punchier sound, I lighter weight head will to the trick... maybe a diplomat, which is lighter than the ambassador. Bob Gatzen does a GREAT video on youtube about reso heads and getting the sound you want. I know hes an evans guy, but the advice is the same!

I dig into the bass when I hit (I know).
Will the Diplomats last?

My understanding was you were using this head as a reso. I was saying to replace your ambassador with the diplomat. so keep you PS3, and I don't think you digging into the bass drum will affect to reso head that much.

Heres that reso head video I was talking about

I thought you were talking about batters! Sorry!
I'll get some other opinions on bass. But that seems like a good idea! Thanks!
