Default Practising?

Hey , at the moment when i practise i use one in ear headphone. Would you reccomend using a 2 ear 'muffle like' headphone , like http://www.themusicking.co.uk/vic-fi...eadphones-sih1 , to practise or one in ear?

I use headphones more like those mufflers. But mine are relatively cheap, so the sound quality isn't great and they don't muffle all that well. However, I find that my setup is the most like an actual performance situation for me. I can hear my playing fine and the music fine. And my drums overshadow the drum recording well enough that I don't start falling back on following the recorded drum beat to much. My problem with one ear in is that it's harder for me to hear the music, but in the end, it really comes down to doing what works best for you.

I wear EARPLUGS inside of my headphones. That way I won't go deaf when I turn the music up loud enough to hear above the drums.
