RARE EARTH ,PETER RIVERA?

Anybody in the know what gear Pete was using on the 1971 "Rare Earth in Concert " album?? Man that snare is poppin' !!!! especially on the "Get Ready" 21 minute jam they do! His tunning totally fits the music..... any info would be much appreciated thanks..

If any of you havent heard this ? you really need to ....
 
I don't have an answer to the question, but I like the fact that he can play the drums like that and sing the lead vocals at the same time so powerfully too.

The music has something that I really love to jam to ....GROOVE..... really strong groove
 
Wow that was a cool vid. Singing and drumming that groove for all he's worth! And that sure is a nice snare pop. Can see the appeal in this fo sho. So thats Rare Earth, heard the name and Im sure a few of the tunes...but now i know.

Sorry cant help with your gear quest tho.
