Default How does the demand for keyboard players compare to demand for drummers?

How much in demand are keyboard players compared to drummers? I'm guessing the best way to find out would be make 2 craigslist ads for the same area and count the responses to each ad. Already did the drummer ad but would hate to disappoint fellow musicians with false hope for the keyboard ad because I'm not a keyboard player. Anyone already know the answer?

At least around my neck of woods, good drummers are a dime a dozen, but you'll need to hire a detective to find a keyboard player who can play and isn't extremely well employed already.

Keyboard players are as rare as rocking horse shit round here.
We've had our eyes out for one for a while

I echo the rarity of good keyboard players. That said, in these parts, good drummers aren't exactly numerous either.

Generally, getting any good player is tough. Even though guitarists appear to be on every street corner, getting a good one, especially one who's head you can fit through the venue doors, isn't exactly easy.

Keyboard players who are not psychotic and egotistical maniacs are always in demand.
If you find a key player who is normal please let me know :)
