Would be great to see you Jon, & of course, the artist lineup is superb.

Slight tangent, but here's a very specific 14" x 5.5" one off I just finished in Tour series hardware for a client. This is AA grade ebony (almost completely black) with just ghosts of figuring in there. Although beautiful in it's own way, I won't be building another one like this.

Many points :
Good choice of song - love Bowie - , perfect drumming and drum sound (every part of the kit), good band with a good voice.

Saw all the in progress pics on FB, looks amazing, bet it sounds better than it looks.

Would an Ebony snare live together in perfect harmony with an Ivory snare? :)

So this snare, being a Tour rather than In-tense and a different grade wood makes these drums cousins rather than siblings? Do they sound similar or does size and build come into play? I know more questions- a regular pain I be.

Thank you so much :) There's a bit of work to do on this track yet (BV's missing, etc), as we're recording & hopefully releasing this arrangement as a single (assuming official permissions finalise) in November.

Of course, size has an impact, but so does hardware choice. This 14" is considerably more focussed compared to the 13".

Quite possibly - until I get (quite rightly) thrown in jail :(
