1966 Vintage Slingerland Drumset in White Marine Pearl - $8500

And no, it's not a type-o.

Yes a 4 poc vintage Slingerland is worth some serious change, but LOL< no where near $8500. I could buy 6 or 7 identical kits for $8500.

I see people over price their drums, but that takes the cake. hahaha

On a similar note:
http://losangeles.craigslist.org/sfv...838696252.html
DW CUSTOM DRUMSET - $6500
Quote:
For sale is a "one of a kind" custom made drumset by Drum Workshop. John Good and I personally hand selected the drum shells.

I know the asking price is high but when you hear the amazing sound from this set, you will understand why.
Nearly every DW collector kit is a one of a kind. And yeah, it might sound nice, but it's not going to be any different than any other DW collector made with the same care.
To ask nearly 3 times what it is worth is just ridiculous.

Everyone knows that the extra air holes make the tom happen.
John Good sits at a work station at dw all day and he drills air holes in toms.

When I lived in NJ, I used to eat White Castle Hamburgers. The little hamburgers came with holes punched in them. Their motto was: The holes are extra.

I used to drink a lot back then too.

Apparently he had no takers at $6500.

They are still for sale at $5500.

For sale is a "one of a kind" custom made drumset by Drum Workshop. John Good and I personally hand selected the drum shells. Then I had John put dual air holes on the large toms and bass drums. Also, the bass drum hoops are specially sized to match the width of older style drums made in the 60s. Shells sizes are 20x14 22x14 bass drums, 8x8,10x9, 12x9, 13x10, 14x12, 16x14 toms. I also have DW brass snare drum. All drums have high quality Tuxedo cases and I have a full set heavy duty stands with a custom trap case. This set was given to me by Don Lombardi and it is so special that I rarly used it. I know the asking price is high but when you hear the amazing sound from this set, you will understand why.

Classic stratocaster air guitar - $50 (Colorado Springs.)

I have for sale, one genuine Air Guitar. It is a Stratocaster, and is in "glossy invisible" finish. I have played this air guitar for years, but it still looks exactly like it did when I first got it. When you turn up the stereo, this thing sounds great. You can recreate the sound of any known band or artist, as long as you have the CD or MP3. I am only selling this because I got a new air guitar as a present. It features dual-humbugger pickups.

This air guitar is light, easy to carry, and you can play it at home, at work, in your car, or while shopping -- be the center of attention!

Note that I also have the matching air bass, air keyboard, air drums, and air microphone. I can fully equip a complete air band!

Shipping available, but will cost an extra $1 for the envelope and stamp.

This one sells for $300-350 new. I guess pristine condition bumps it up to $480

http://nashville.craigslist.org/msg/3036294361.html

I have a barely used Ludwig Black magic 5x14. This is in pristine condition. Has brand new Remo coated ambassador head that hasnt been played on and Evans e-ring. I have original Ludwig head in perfect shape still in the box. I have a DW snare stand that is barely used as well. Double braced and extremely durable. Perfect shape and still have the box for it. Will throw in two packs of sticks and a speed key. This snare Has that Ludwig legendary sound and power. Very versatile tuning capabilities. This will be a killer snare to add to your arsenal. Brass with nickel coating. Absolutely beautiful. Little brother to the legendary black beauty. Call for details. 615.971.5841 looking for a nice set of mackie studio monitors.

You can buy a drum head for $95 and it comes with a snare drum....derpa derpa....

http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/msg/3030275578.html

6-piece Silverstars for the low, low price of only $1,800...great deal if you believe his stated MSRP. Unfortunately for him I can go to Sam Ash and get a brand new shell pack for about $600.

http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/msg/3056600059.html

Heck, I can pick up a new Starclassic Performance set for less than that. The problem with C/L around here is that everybody wants top dollar for their used gear. Not many good deals anymore and too many swindlers looking for suckers.

Let's see, Clear Pinstripe on the snare, Blue Hydraulics as resonants, bass drums filled with packing peanuts.... I shudder to think of that tone. Best of craigslist indeed!

Mapex Drum Kit owned by Carmine Appice - $3500 (Camarillo)

Email me with your name and phone number ONLY for info. I will not return emails due to spam concerns. Edge Snare was $1200 by itself, this is a steal.
No description of what is included.
And really? Carmine has "owned" so many drum kits in his career, I don't think anyone is going to pay a premium for it.
