Default base drum pedal needed

I just bought a new gretsch brooklyn jazz kit with an 18 inch bass drum.With a small base drum whats the best pedal to use? thanks for help

Whichever pedal feels best to you. Head out to a shop and get your feet on as many as possible and let the pedal pick you.
