Default Pearl SGC300P Super Grip Hi-Hat Clutch

Anyone try this clutch yet (Pearl SGC300P Super Grip Hi-Hat Clutch)? I just bought a Pearl Eliminator Hi-Hat stand and it comes with this clutch and all I can say is wow!!!!!!!

I think the rubber makes a sweet improvement over the traditional felts, I feel like i have a lot more control over my hi-hats. Anyone else that has this clutch notice this as well?

Now I want to get one of these clutches for my tama iron cobra hi hat stand, should fit I'm guessing? I'd check but my tama hi-hat stand is at my band practice location and won't see it till this coming friday again.

Yep, got a couple. I like 'em a lot too. It seems as if the rubber opens the cymbal up a little more than felts.....at least to my ear.

I noticed that as well. Another cool thing I notice now is that the chick sounds solid meaning I don't hear any type of flam as the top cymbal closes on the bottom.
