Default Bass drum pedal rattling/shaking

Hi there!
I'm VERY new to drumming - only had 3 lessons but have just bought a kit (a very cheap one as I'm skint and only want it to practise on). I'm having a small issue with the bass drum pedal. It's a Stagg one. Basically after I release the pedal it kind of wobbles and you can hear it. It doesn't really affect my playing but I just find the noise of the metal rattling irritating! What is the solution to this? Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I know virtually nothing about setting up/tuning/tweaking drum kits!

It may need something tightened or lubricated on the pedal or it may just be that it is an inexpensive pedal and it makes some noise.
Most pedals make a slight amount of noise.
Expensive ones are usually fairly silent if they are working correctly.
Sometimes the spring makes a slight noise as it flexes.

The first great thing, and I applaud you for it, is that you're taking lessons. Your teacher should be able to help with a lot of your questions. Concerning the question about your bass drum pedal, did you check to make sure everything was tight? Take the pedal off your kit and sit it on a table. When you press on the footboard with your hand can you hear the noise? This should tell you if the noise is in the pedal and what part of the pedal, or if it was the way it was attached to your drum. Experiment and trouble shoot the problem.
