Default Yamaha Turbo Tour

Hey all,

I'm new here (though I have seen some names I know), this is my first post to show you my good ol' Yammie 8000 kit. Big sizes, big sound :)

22x18 kick
12x12, 13x13, 16x14, all hanging toms
Dixon 14x5,5 Jarrah snare (on these pics)

Paiste Cymbals:
22" 2000 Ride
13" 2000 Reflector Hats
19" Aplha Brilliant Rock crash
18" Aplha Power Crash
18" 2002 Crash (very old, with a small cutaway)

Yamaha stands, Mapex P750 kick pedal, Gibraltar hihat stand.

Whoah, holy powertoms Batman! Love it :) Ah, the memories. Those toms & lots of big subs FOH = heaven!

Very sweet kit it's crying for a 24+ bass drum..lol here's my 84' Power Tour Customs (24-12-16ft)..those toms look like cannons by themselves..lol.

I love my PTC very nice deep tone.

Hey Mike, it's been a while... I had these in the early 90's, and then they're back again. Nobody makes kits like these anymore.

Powertoms are not so deep. These are Turbo Toms! :-D

Yep, I'm in a search for a 24" kick. This 22" has deep tone though.

Yep, I'm in a search for a 24" kick. This 22" has deep tone though.
Yep mine sound sweet as i'm sure yours do also...pretty cool

Who cares the names? If a thing sounds good (or looks good, or both) anything could be on a badge, or in a catalog...

Thank you! 24" kicks have some special taste - I had a Recording Custom set with a 24" kick, and it was unbeatable until today.
