Default My new custom Bubinga Stave Snare

After back and forth correspondence from a local Aussie drum maker (Disturbance Drums). My custom snare is now complete and I will be receiving it tomorrow. The specs are a 14x6.5 bubinga stave shell, offset brass lugs, die-cast throw off, bubinga stave hoops, puresound snares. And my initals "DMT" on the badge which is not the drug btw, they are just my initals. Hahaha

Beautiful snare man. How does she sound?

Do you have any pics of the construction? I love seeing how stave drums come together.

According from the samples I have received very woody, fat and a little dry. But with a dark overtone due to the bubinga. I actually recieve it tomorrow.
