I've been an Impact case/bag endorser since 1985, and although I don't use their cases for drums anymore (all are in bags) I use their trap & stand cases for local and studio gigs. I think I've had my gigging case for 15+ years, and it gets the most use. No problems, although I recently replaced the wheels with slightly larger, smoother ones for easier rolling:

The beauty of their trap case is that it's light compared to other plastic/molded cases. Some of those things weigh as much as the gear you put in them!

I'm fairly old school when it comes to moving/storing my gear. I don't want to carry a separate cymbal bag, pedal bag, stick bag, or utility bag for the seat. I want it all-in-one, as much as possible. So I put everything in the case, except the snare. In its place, the seat, and hats with clutch attached (for ease/speed of set-up & teardown.)

Economizing like this means using lightweight hardware, which is also easy on the back. We 'older' drummers appreciate making things easier wherever possible, and cutting down on weight and the number of trips to move gear is always a plus.

As I mentioned above, I don't use the cases for drums anynore, but that's a personal choice having to do with conserving storage space. The quality is excellent.

PS: that's their 'small' case.

Impact bags, mostly the 600 series. I switched from cases to save space. A few inches here and there really adds up amongst 20+ kits!
