Default PDP 900 boom stand or Pearl 900 boom stand

The title pretty much sums it up - I am looking to purchase a new boom stand and for the price I want to spend (under $70) these look like the best options. I have had good experiences with hardware from both brands. I would appreciate input on which of these models people prefer or have had good luck with. Thanks.

I don't own any of the PDP stuff but I do own about seven of the Pearl 900BC stands and like them a lot. They are very rugged, very adjustable, dependable and they won't blow away if placed in close proximity to hugh speaker stacks, lol.

I have a PDP 900 and have a 12" and 13" tom mounted on it along with a 18" heavy crash and 8 and 10 " splash. I have had no problems with it and its super sturdy, But I would not have any problem if it was a Pearl, both are great.
