Default Evans coated EC2 SST vs Remo Coated Emporers

Ok, so I have narrowed it down to these two choices for heads for my "new to me" 80's Tama Imperialstar concert tom kit. 13,14 and 16 inch toms. What are the pros and cons of each?(besides price lol) I know I want a double ply coated head for these to cut the overtones a little bit, but im at a crossroads. I plan on tuning these low and boomy. Thanks in advance.

My Pearl drums sound good with EC2 batter heads, but they are not very loud. To me EC2 batter heads are good for practice or when the drums are miced. I prefer a clear Evans G2. Good luck in finding your sound.
