Default Finally! My new DW kit is here!

After 4 months, my new DW Collectors kit just arrived.

Went old school with this one : Maple/Mahogany VLT shells, Black Ice FinishPly, 14x22/9x12/16x16, retro rail mount holder.

(DW changed their tom arm & leg receivers recently to a cylinderical thing, so here's a pic of it too)

Beautiful!

I like the new arm receivers being used. The old ones were a bit bulkier than what you have. Although there was less of a chance for stripping out with the old ones since they were basically a bolt and a separate wing nut. But, if you never over-tighten your stuff, it should be fine. Congratulations!

Hi gutenberg

Wow! Stunning looking kit that is.... and black, I love that.

Hey, the maple/mahogany shells must be a delight to play with some lovely low end pitch...

Congratulations :-))

The Birch Collectors always came without re-rings, and the new Maple/Mahogany drums don't come with re-rings either.
