Default Teeheehee

I'm sighting the likely polyrhythmic effect of falling off a curb as a tenuous link to drumming ;)

I can see how a severe fall like that could occur after stabbing a US Marine in the back in front of three other Marines.

lol - that seems plausible. Shouldn't laugh but, gee, he must have bounced around a fair bit after the first bump!

Accidents like that happen all the time, add alcohol and the incidence triples.

That's brilliant. Justice may be blind, but somehow I don't think the Marines were.

You should be very careful in shopping mall parking lots.
There are many obstacles such as curbs that could injure you.
Always look where you are going!

Certainly Bonham & Paice would have been proud of them. The Marines played good singles, doubles and fast lightning triplets on the scarred-beaten-broken, subject!

I bet it happened within a mile of his home too.

Statistically speaking those things are much more likely to happen within a mile of your house. Usually in the shower.

I sure hope he's okay. Poor fella

This story was going around last year at this time.

I do believe the story is fake.

Not entirely fake, but highly exaggerated:

Definitely didn't happen in Oz. Our legal system seems so arse about they would have locked up the SAS for loitering........and the crook would be entitled to compensation from the local council because the curb wasn't well maintained!!

I knew there was something fishy about this story! I wonder if the same is true of that 'police radar gun nearly gets hit by hellfire missile' story. It just seems a little too neat to be quite true. Like the one you always hear about the aircraft carrier being told to change course by a lighthouse.

Some stories about soldiers beating people up are true though. Anyone think this is funny?

I do want to believe the story of the marines is "real"!

And if not, hopefuly someday it will be!

that went around here in the states about 3 months ago...first as an e-mail, then a text message,

Real or not,.. it was fun to read!

I see one of the reports changes the name of the subject to "Tyrone Jackson". Very nice and racist.

Yes, but you've got to remember that the idea of a criminal who has just stabbed someone recieving that sort of "punishment" appeals to peoples' desire for revenge much more than that of innocent hotel workers in Basra...

Hilarious story. It does seem too good to be true, from the curious name of the subject, gallant Marines taking down a thug, etc.

But I wish to believe it so I will.

I would welcome an equal slice of karma toward anyone who brutally assaulted an innocent civilian.

Quote from snopes:
Quote:
The audience is supposed to read between the lines in the preceding text and conclude that the suspect did not fall but rather was beaten by the other three Marines.
Let's just say that it is not a great idea to mess with US Marines.
