Default starclasic Head!

Hi!! how are you!!!!!
well I've just bought a tama starclassic maple it comes with g2 evans drumhead , sounds good but i think that it could be better.. i like a sound like steve smith on TOM High pitch and with body...
do you think that clear ambasador could be good for my tama??

Of course it would be good for your Tama.
You will be going from a two ply head to a single ply.
The sound will be much brighter with longer sustain.
Save the G2 heads if they are in good condition and you can swap back and forth.
Buy one Amb head for one of your mounted toms and try it before you buy a whole set of heads.

an ambassador will get you that steve smith sound - that's what he uses on his drums.

I have a doubt ..
what about the TAMA g2 By Evans that comes with starclassic ?? are they really the same that a real evans g2 ??

They are the same head. Evans simply makes them for Tama.
Higher end kits come with good heads.

Yes, my Tama Starclassic Bubinga drums came with Evans heads all around and were imprinted with the Tama logo.
