Default Evans Hybrid or onyx- anyone used it?

So, instead of asking and then purchasing, I did the opposite. At any rate, I would still like to know if anyone has used to Evans hybrid snare drum head for drum set snares. It's ridiculously expensive but I had an amazon gift card to burn up.

I am an exclusive Evans user and have generally used only one-ply heads on my snare drums, including the power center and the genera HD dry. I am a big fan of huge resonance so I tend to stay away from two-ply heads, but I also require lots of sensitivity so I picked up an Evans Onyx snare head to try out.

Let me know if you have used either the Hybrid or Onyx heads on your snare drums and what you think in comparison to other heads. Useful information to include would be the type and size of snare you use; the number of plies and type of wood, bearing angle edges etc..

My primary snare is a custom Shine drum, 10 ply all maple shell, 60 degree bearing edges (both inside and out), of dimensions 13 x 6.5.

Thanks!
