Default Should I buy this used Eliminator?

Hey guys, looking to get a single Eliminator pedal at the moment for when my 2nd bass drum arrives. Trying to get one relatively cheap and I found a used one a guy is selling on a forum.

He's willing to sell it to me for about $100 all up inc shipping. Now, I'm not sure what to do here. I can get one brand new from an Aussie website for $200 all up which comes with all cams and a case.

This used one comes with all cams but no case and no toe stop. The guy said it works pretty well though and he used it for several months with no problems.

Here's some pics of the used one.

Here's what he said about it: "This is half of a double pedal. The slave pedal and drive shaft/connection rod is not included. Includes 1 white cam installed, and 3 extra cams (white, blue and red). Includes 1 4-way beater (the felt sides are quite worn). I used this on my kit as a single pedal, and it works pretty well with no problems. Check the pictures linked below carefully.

I got this as a double minus the drive shaft on eBay a while back. It came in at worse conditions than I imagined, so I took them apart and replaced some parts in the main pedal with those from the slave pedal. Then I used it on my kit for several months without issues. I now have a pair of new Pearl P902 double pedals, so these are retired from my kit."

What do you think? Should I buy it for about $100 or just spend $200 on a brand new one?

Can you live with no black cams? If so, it looks to be in reasonable shape (although as always with used gear....there is only one way to truely find out) and a $100 in your pocket is better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.

well, if he prefers the lower end 902's, then it might be in pretty bad playing shape. Plus, he had to replace a bunch of parts to get it functional, so it was already abused. I would pass.
