Default Broken snare reso

Was playing a gig last night, and just before the end of the first set I noticed my snare started to sound boom-y. At first I thought it must have been something to do with the batter head but after closer inspection I noticed it was the reso head.

Has this ever happened to any one here?

Same thing happened to me last night. It happened before we started playing, I had my wife bring my spare snare.

Unfortunately I didn't bring a back up snare, or have a back up snare worth using, so ended up rushing home (fortunately it was a local gig) to get an old reso head which I had lying about. Quickest head change I've ever done!
