Default Tama Speed Cobra Setup Help!

Hi guys I'm not so familiar with this forum but seeing as its "Drummer World" Im hoping you guys could help me out.

I bought the Tama Speed Cobra A few days ago and I finally set it up today to give it a go. But I can't seem to get the two beaters to align after heavy playing. I can get them to align, but when I play them, the left pedal always eventually shifts down, looses the impact and makes it difficult to play because the pedals are no longer aligned.

I'm very worried because I did not buy a warranty with the pedal (I'm broke) and the pedal is very expensive

Have any of you guys had this problem? How do you fix this?

Any useful answer is much appreciated.

Hey,

If it's anything like the Iron Cobra then you need to tighten the beater holder with your Tama Hammer on the 'Turnny Rod Thing' (the horizontal bar that goes across the pedal that everything is attached to), that's the only way I can describe it :P

That should sort it!

the pedal should automatically come with 1yr warrentee, and 100% sure that you just need to tighten everything. don't tighten it too much or you'll wear the thread out and then you'll need new pedals because you have no thread left to tighten.
