Default Help, Iron Cobra advice needed!!!

Okay, long story short - bought some IC doubles used - eBay, almost all fine, but with some issues.

One or two of the screws in the linkbar don't tighten, looks like a bust thread.
The 2nd pedal has the footguard thing (atop the pedal) missing, anywhere I can buy one so i don't get oily feet?
I've also found that i can't anchor the 2nd pedal, what does it connect to?

And on my fault, how can i easily get the hi-hat stand close without it being in the way of the 2nd pedal?

Thanks!
All advice welcome, and appreciated! :)

Hey!

You can get a few screws from a Google search (or ebay)

UK site, I know.

The foot guard really gets in the way of my Iron Cobra and you won't get oily feet as easy anyways so I'd just leave it.

What do you mean by anchor? Pictures?

Move the pedals around (either to the right or left) and it should work :)

At the moment I'm using a Single Iron Cobra and I'm probably going to upgrade to Speed Cobra doubles. My Iron Cobras being a bit iffy at the moment and falling apart after 3 years.

You might be able to find the parts you need here, then order them from a Tama dealer.

http://www.tamadrum.co.jp/world/part...ndex_twin.html

Edit: You have to know what production model you have. In the latest two for the original footplate design, you might notice the parts you need in the sections 8, 13, and 14. But I'm not sure if that's the model you have. The best way to check that I know of is probably to take a look at the baseplates and see if they have the correct slots for the Cobra Coil.

Thanks for the replies, might inquire to Tama about costs for the parts, and ask the guy on eBay to discount some money (as it didn't say).

Now, any tips on how to keep the second pedal... well still. It moves back as I play, so eventually the connector bar is rubbing against a lug on my bass drum ;o
(it's a nice pedal and I've not really adjusted already!)

Hi-Hat positioning too???
