Default Acoustic/Electric Setup

Hi guys, any help would be much appreciated!

I play in a new age dance cover band hence wanting to add the electronics within my acoustic kit. I have just recently ordered a Yamaha DTX Multi 12 which I will mount above my high hat for sampling/sounds etc. I have also mounted three extra PD-8 Drum pads around my kit for more sounds/versatility...

Now I also want to add a kick pad next to my acoustic bass drum (I have a KD-8) but am unsure about it. I want it placed RIGHT next to my existing bass drum pedal but the KD-8 is just soo bulky! Is there any way around this.. ? Any ideas? I want my setup looking clean and compact.

Also will the Yamaha DTX Multi 12 accept having an extra 3 pads and a bass drum pad?

This is my first experience with acoustic/electric setups.

Yamaha's website states that:

"The DTX-MULTI 12 comes with trigger-input jacks that five external pads can be connected to as well as one foot switch jack and one hi-hat controller jack."

So based on that info, I would have to say yes. Have you gone over to DTXperience.com?....they have a forum section dedicated to the DTX-multi 12.
