Default Double Pedal Choice Confusion

I'm wanting to try a double bass pedal I currently use a Pearl P900 pedal, I'm a big heavy guy so put a lot of power behind my pedal; I need one that won't fall to pieces. My 'short list' choices within budget (both new and second-hand) seem to be...

Pearl 902 Double Pedal
Pearl Eliminator 2002C
Tama HP300TW - I think this might be known as the Iron Cobra Jr.?
DW 4000
Big Dog E004
I've also looked at a second-hand Duallist triple pedal?

But, I can't get to go try them... So I wondered if anyone would give me a bit of advice or an opinion on the above pedals please there's so much info and options it's confusing?

If you're a heavy stomper, then your best bet is a Tama Iron Cobra. Over the years its proven to be the most durable and rugged pedal out there.

Of those options the pearl eliminator or jr. iron cobra is the way to go. However I'd recommend the DW 3000 (The 4000 is not made anymore) for $200. DW's are sturdy and this pedal feels great too. The best and sturdiest pedals cost $300+, but I'm assuming you don't want to go that high.

If you're a pretty big stomper then you should forgo any of those intermediate pedals IMHO and go with the girth of the Iron Cobra or the Pearl Elims.

Theyre suprisingly affordable used (in great cond) also.

I am currently using the Pearl Eliminator Demon Double Drives, ive got quite a heavy foot too, so far ive used them since January this year and they still seem like i just got them out of the box, you also get some free oil for them and a protective case... They may set you back a bit though!

Thanks for all the advice guys...

I'm pretty much decided on the Pearl Eliminator 2002-C now, as a number of you are suggesting these are good, the reviews on line all look very favourable and also I like the idea of interchangeable cams and easy to get parts.

Otherwise the Iron Cobra is coming in a very close second at the moment...
Though I would prefer not to be forced to get the Jr one due to budget. Every time I see something athat's a 'Jr.' it suggests a 'cut-down' or 'light' version of something and that is really off-putting.

Thanks for your help it's much appreciated.

The P2002C. Adjustability by itself makes it one of the best on the market. Pearl generally makes very sturdy equipment as well.
