Default Practice Kit while I am home from Uni.

This is my tiny kit to practice on while the rest is still in London at my Uni house!
The kit is a Mapex M Pro:
> Bass drum is a 12" tom that I converted to attach a bass pedal (Actually sounds quite good!)
> 14 x 5.5 Mapex snare with a remo fibre skin head
> 14" Zildjian K hats
> 20" Zildjian sizzle ride with 8 rivets

Will be more than enough to keep me practicing while I'm away

I did exactly this just before I went to Uni with a 14" floor tom. I got an old Pearl Export and converted half of it into a 16" bass drum kit to use at Uni and it worked brilliantly. Good idea.

That's a new one - the bass drum being a smaller diameter than the snare!

Yeah it does give an interesting sound having the Bass drum smaller than the Snare!

And if I was going to properly use this for a gig I think a 16" bass drum would give a better sound! but for practicing, its definitely better than just a pad!
