Default Longboard Pedals?

I have size 12 feet. I can't seem to get any kind of heel-toe thing going. Would a long board pedal help?

They will help a bit. But you will not see a night and day difference. I would mess around with the settings on your pedals before shelling out for a new pedal. Up the spring tension, bring the beater a bit closer to the head, lower the footboard a bit, etc.

The best heel/toe players all say the same thing. You do not need a long board to get the technique down.

The action is the heel of the foot leading the downstroke....not the heel of the foot actually coming into contact with the foot board.

Check out this vid.....the heel really makes no contact with the board at all....and all played on a humble Eliminator: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SSKS9a9NuPc

i think they'll help you for the learning process, but after many years of doing this my right foot seems to not even have a heel on the pedal, so its kinda the palm of my foot/toe. lol weird hey

Thanks guys. I didn't really think that I needed anything different, just wanted to be sure.
